About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Planning Director to join our team at REI. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Integrated Business Planning and related processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Integrated Business Planning team, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement best practice methodologies for Integrated Business Planning, staying current on industry best practices across planning disciplines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into the IBP process, ensuring accuracy and reliability of forecasts and plans.
  • Financial Performance: Drive improvements of financial outcomes across Revenue, Margin, and Inventory through proactive identification of risk and opportunity and effective coordination of organizational focus on solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing IBP team, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance capabilities and drive results.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 8-10 years of experience in leading Integrated Business Planning or Sales & Operations Planning processes within a complex, global organization.
  • Expertise: Expert knowledge of Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, and IBP/S&OP.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, and ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
