About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Manager to join our Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support team at Lululemon Athletica. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enabling effective, efficient, and consistent planning and governance of work and initiatives across all Global Digital, Omni and Guest Support portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Governance Models: Support the implementation of a governance model and cross-functional strategic planning programs to enable alignment and executive decision making.
  • Long-Range Planning Framework: Manage and implement long-range planning framework and processes to connect long-term strategy to annual operating plan.
  • Annual Operating Plan Process: Enable and optimize the annual operating plan process in partnership with FP&A and technology partners.
  • Initiative Governance: Enable the senior leadership team in the prioritization and governance of initiatives and programs to ensure attainment of our long-term strategy.
  • Roll-Up View of Key Planning Deliverables: Develop and prepare roll-up view of key planning deliverables (e.g. LRP, OKR, AOP) for senior leadership team to make informed decisions.
  • Dependency Management: Optimize and enable a common dependency management, intake and quarterly planning process in partnership with other functional portfolio leaders and technology stakeholders.
  • Job Families and Governance Model: Support the creation of job families and other deliverables to stand up and enable Portfolio Governance and Planning function.
  • Innovative Program Management Methodologies: Develop and iterate innovative program management methodologies and frameworks.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university in business operations or related field.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience related to strategic planning, long range planning, program management or management consulting preferably in vertically integrated, global, retail environments.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into simple narrative and recommendations for senior executive leaders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, facilitation and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
  • Results-Driven: Ability to drive results independently and collaboratively as a team player.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-starter and results driven.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in bringing structure to ambiguity to drive business results.
  • Passion for Innovation: Passion for developing new ways of working with creativity and flexibility.
