Job Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting thorough background investigations to evaluate the eligibility of applicants for a sports wagering license.

This role requires a comprehensive assessment of the applicant's integrity, character, and financial stability, ensuring ongoing compliance with licensing standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret personal and business financial documents, including credit reports, tax returns, and court records, to verify the information provided in licensing applications.
  • Assess credit history and due diligence reports, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with applicants through interviews to gather pertinent information for the background investigation process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external sources to validate the accuracy of applicant-submitted information.
  • Review reports from other jurisdictions where the applicant holds licenses for gaming or sports wagering activities.
  • Compile detailed and coherent investigative reports based on findings.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively for data management and analysis, demonstrating advanced Excel skills.
  • Handle confidential materials with proficiency and discretion.
  • Work in conjunction with supervisors to understand the legal frameworks governing sports wagering operations.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse individuals and present findings clearly.
  • Maintain meticulous organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, aligning with the company's vision and values.
  • Promote the objectives of the organization while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
  • Possess a valid driver's license to facilitate necessary interviews and document deliveries.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
