Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret personal and business financial documents, including credit reports, tax returns, and court records, to verify the authenticity of information provided in licensing applications.
- Assess credit history, due diligence reports, and financial statements while applying relevant internal policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Engage with applicants through interviews to gather information pertinent to the background investigation process.
- Collaborate with internal and external sources to validate the accuracy of the information submitted by applicants.
- Review documentation from other jurisdictions where the applicant holds licenses for sports wagering or related activities.
- Compile detailed and clear investigative reports summarizing findings.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively for data management and analysis, demonstrating advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in accessing licensing databases.
- Handle confidential materials with discretion and ensure proper retrieval and disposition.
- Work closely with supervisors to gain knowledge of laws and regulations governing sports wagering operations.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and present findings effectively.
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational, prioritization, record-keeping, and time management capabilities.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the organization, aligning activities with its vision and values.
- Promote the objectives of the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Possess a valid driver's license to facilitate interviews and the delivery of licenses.
