Key Responsibilities:
Caring for the unique needs of residents, which includes assistance with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, as well as safely lifting, moving, and transporting residents using appropriate techniques.
Identifying and reporting any changes in resident conditions to nursing management, while asking relevant questions to clarify situations.
Effectively communicating and interacting with residents, visitors, families, colleagues, and supervisors in a professional manner.
Reporting any unusual changes or trends to nursing staff promptly.
Assisting nurses with various tasks as directed, demonstrating a collaborative approach to patient care.
Qualifications for CNAs:
Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long-Term Care environment is highly preferred.
Graduation from an accredited Certified Nursing Aide program is required.
Possession and maintenance of a current state certification as a CNA is essential.
Ability to successfully pass a Drug Screening is mandatory.
