Technical Sales Specialist

Ingredion is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our Virtual Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you will interact directly with small and medium-sized customers, providing them with expert advice on ingredient solutions for their food and beverage applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer accounts and develop new opportunities through lead generation and management
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers and provide solution-selling skills to help them solve their ingredient formulation needs
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in the food industry and continuously develop sales skills through training and on-the-job learning
- Bachelor's degree in food science or a technical field
- 1-3 years of work experience in sales or customer service
- Passion for working with customers and building relationships
- Attention to detail, well-organized, and interested in working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to present ideas to customers

Relocation is not available for this role. The pay range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity. Incentive compensation may be available through the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Full-time roles are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a competitive company match.
