Job Title: IT Support Specialist II

Join the Salvation Army team as an IT Support Specialist II and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide technical support and assistance to our staff, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to perform their jobs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff members, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and other technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
