Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Supervisor at DeZURIK is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to delegate tasks and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and process supplier invoices into the Accounts Payable module of DeZURIK's ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of supplier invoice entry for the Accounts Payable team.
  • Manage supplier payment processing and scheduled check runs, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records and control reports.
  • Oversee workloads, assign balanced distribution of work on the team, and lead the monthly Accounts Payable close processes.
  • Serve as knowledge expert for Accounts Payable transactional processes.
  • Serve as the main contact for complicated supplier inquiries.
  • Continually look for areas of improvement for accuracy and transactional efficiencies.
  • Prepare and evaluate applicable reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for areas of process and procedure improvement.
  • Provide direct supervision to the Accounts Payable team, providing continual training and coaching as needed.
  • Ensure that the duties and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated with accountability around productivity goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-volume AP environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, with supervision over multiple locations highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to learn systems and processes, look for areas of inefficiency and make recommendations for improvement.
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to delegate duties and tasks as needed.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient at Excel.
Work Environment

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required. Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.
