Automotive Technician

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled automotive technicians to join our team at Beaverhead Motorsports. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in servicing vehicles and contributing to a positive customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Setup and Installation: Establish and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on equipment in the facility, including setup of new ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, and snowmobile units.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Inspections and Testing: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Contract Management: Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
- Supervision: Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Health and Safety: Participate in, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives and requirements.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Must have mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an industrial, maintenance environment.
- Education: College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field.
- Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Blueprint Reading: Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.
- Physical Demands: Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.
- Certification: Must obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry picker.
