In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team of professionals from diverse departments. As an Accounting Analyst, you will support daily accounting operations, analyze data, uncover insights, and contribute to strategic decisions that shape our company's future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to established accounting policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Compile and analyze financial data to prepare general ledger journal entries, assisting in resolving any identified issues.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and help address any discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end closing process to meet internal deadlines.
  • Assist with processing invoices and payments.
  • Review and document accounting policies, and assist management in implementing process improvements and internal controls.
  • Contribute to efforts aimed at streamlining the expense report financial reporting cycle.
  • Monitor and enhance customer payments and chargebacks.
  • Prepare monthly analytical reports and track key performance indicators for leadership.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance is required; 3+ years is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong work ethic; well-organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is preferred.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • A basic understanding of systems analysis methods and principles used in big data analysis.
