Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled nursing leader to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing at NYC Health Hospitals. As a key member of the Nursing Services Administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care and operational excellence in our Adult Behavioral Health Department. With a focus on leadership, administration, and clinical expertise, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families.

Salary: Estimated salary range is $130,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective nursing practices to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  3. Evaluate and revise staffing plans to meet patient care needs.
  4. Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing and other nursing leaders.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You should have a current license to practice as a professional nurse in New York State, as well as a master's degree in nursing administration, education, or a related field. Five years of satisfactory nursing experience, including three years in a supervisory capacity, is preferred.
