The Opportunity

Within Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) division, we are at the forefront of innovating treatments for heart disease through advanced medical technologies designed for atrial fibrillation, empowering individuals to reclaim their health and lives.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will operate under general supervision, delivering advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to intricate inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and sales teams regarding EP products. Your work will require a high degree of autonomy, where you will:

  • Identify and implement the most effective and efficient business practices to optimize processes.
  • Exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and executing tasks while monitoring performance and reporting to management.
  • Act as a senior clinical liaison between the medical community and the business, fostering strong relationships with customers and sharing your product expertise.
  • Recognize and communicate customer needs, product performance, and potential sales opportunities to drive growth.
  • Provide comprehensive engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for complex field inquiries as needed.

Additionally, you will:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all EP products and related technical knowledge.
  • Lead and facilitate training sessions on EP products for healthcare professionals.
  • Offer insights and feedback to management regarding market trends and future product developments.
  • Support regional EP procedural case coverage and assist sales representatives in various capacities, including training seminars and clinical studies.
  • Mentor less experienced Clinical Specialists and continuously enhance your engineering, sales, and technical skills.
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year in a previous role and at least 3 years of clinical experience.
  • IBHRE EP certification and a proven track record as a top performer among peers.
  • The ability to independently conduct complex EP cases and mentor others in advanced mapping techniques.
  • Strong capabilities in leading customer education events to effectively communicate the value of the EP portfolio.
  • Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, including any necessary vaccinations.
