Job Summary

The Project Controls Cost Scheduler at The Hawk Group supports field-based operations on large-term projects by performing various functions, including cost tracking, schedule creation and maintenance, change order management, field reporting, quantitative analysis, database management, drafting and reviewing job cost reports, and maintaining customer and vendor files.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Change Order Log
  • Create, Update, and Manage Project Schedules
  • Generate and Audit Monthly Cost Reports
  • Review and Approve Project Invoices
  • Monitor Field Timekeeping
  • Generate Daily/Weekly/Monthly Field Reports for Clients
  • Maintain Equipment Tracking Logs
  • Maintain Purchase Order Log with Relevant Approval
  • Advise on Coding and Processing for Vendor Invoices as Needed
  • Coordinate with the Client, Project Engineer, Accounting, and Vendors
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 Years Related Work Experience
  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel
  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6
  • Valid State ID, Driver's License, or Government-Issued ID
  • Strong Time Management and Multitasking Abilities
  • Ability to Solve Complex Problems
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Ability to Adhere to Company and OSHA Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • SAP Crystal Reports Experience
