Supply Chain Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing the complete set of Supply Chain processes for your site.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure appropriate parts availability, scheduling, purchase parts deliveries, and logistic flows to make material available when needed, and according to company cash objectives.
- Manage the physical flow whether internally managed or subcontracted, and ensure the compliance of those activities with AZDP standards.
- Optimize hard inventory and coordinate suppliers deliveries plan for her/his project.
- Manage her/his team: calculate workload, define priorities, implement development plans.
- Manage the material work package providing QCD commitments.
- Is responsible for the physical inventory accuracy, applying Alstom rules in terms of counting.
- Defines and deploys her/his continuous improvement roadmap according to APSYS standards.
- Ensure integrity of data needed to run efficient MRP (material resource planning).
- Provide reporting to management for the various supply chain KPI.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field.
- Minimum five years of recognized experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management fields, preferably within an international company.
- Minimum of 5 years inventory management experience is required.
- Professional level qualifications in the supply chain/logistics areas.
- Supplier Relationships Management
- Material needs scheduling
- Logistic flows and warehouse management
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, with special regards to modules used for management of the Supply Chain
- Teamwork & Accountability: Delegates, provides encouragement and support to people in accepting responsibility with accountability
- Empowerment: creates an environment where individuals actively take initiative and ownership
- Operational effectiveness: execute and delivers – Identifies the critical task & resources necessary to achieve the desired objectives, takes action to ensure execution, delivery and follow-up
- Winning & influencing: changes the opinion of others such as customers, colleagues, subordinates.
- Ability to communicate to different levels
- Risk management: provides early warnings as soon as unforeseen problems arise, to ensure timely corrective action can be taken
- Communicating with transparency: delivers clear and synthetic messages
