Position: HVAC Sales Account Executive - B2B Focus in MEP & HVAC Solutions

Compensation: $65K-75K base salary plus commissions & incentives, with potential earnings exceeding $100K in the first year

Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HVAC / MEP Sales Account Executive to flourish within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business and manage client relationships within Mechanical Contractors and Engineers for MEP / HVAC projects, focusing on Refrigeration and HVAC services. Some lead generation will be required, with warm leads provided.
  • Organize and facilitate entertainment and technical events for clients.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals from existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Possess a solid understanding of MEP / HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Engage in Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Client Relations, and Communication.
  • Demonstrate Technical Understanding, Leadership, Teamwork, and Relationship Management skills.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or relevant experience in HVAC, facility services, or property management.
  • Preferred experience in B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the business landscape in the Colorado Springs area. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record in sales and customer satisfaction.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Requirements:
  • Proficient understanding of system design, estimating, and project management for commercial equipment replacement and mechanical projects.
  • Familiarity with larger equipment such as boilers, chillers, packaged units, VRF, CRAC, and controls is essential.
  • Service knowledge is advantageous.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
    • Must pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening.
  • Experience in B2B sales with a track record of $5MM or more in sales.
  • Good driving record and valid license.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving energy service sector.
  • Professional demeanor, respectful communication with clients and team members, accountability for actions, and effective time management skills.
  • Self-motivated in time management, with the ability to develop tools for ongoing efficiency and productivity.
