JOB DUTIES:
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Initiating eminent domain procedures to acquire property parcels.
  • Updating GIS mapping systems with land acquisition project information.
  • Managing documentation and records related to property acquisitions.
  • Conducting research on property parcels to verify construction plans and identify landowners.
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence related to property transactions.
  • Negotiating with property owners to secure necessary rights and resolve issues.
  • Guiding parties through the right-of-way vacation process.
  • Facilitating the transfer of jurisdictional property in compliance with legal standards.
  • Responding to inquiries from the public and other agencies regarding property rights.
