Job Description

As a Real Estate Paralegal at Ensign Services, you will play a vital role in supporting our market and facility teams to enhance our success in an evolving healthcare marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and track closing documents for multi-state real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, Deeds of Trust, and Grant Deeds.
  • Prepare ancillary real estate transaction documents, such as escrow instructions, title instructions, easements, and owner's affidavits.
  • Perform corporate administrative tasks, including entity formation, EIN procurement, and drafting By-Laws, Minutes, and Operating Agreements.
  • Proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct legal due diligence, including ordering title reports, surveys, and third-party reports.
  • Review surveys, title commitments, and exception documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to resolve day-to-day issues and support commercial transactions and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
  • Drafting expertise related to commercial real estate and leasing transactions.
  • Ability to maintain high-quality performance with varied deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical ability and research skills.
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across broad functional and organizational lines.
