Real Estate Paralegal Specialist

As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for preparing and tracking closing documents related to multi-state real estate transactions. This includes purchase and sale agreements, leases, Deeds of Trust, Grant Deeds, and Memorandum of Leases. You will also prepare ancillary real estate transaction documents such as escrow instructions, title instructions, easements, owner\u2019s affidavits, closing certificates, entitlements, etc.
You will be proficient in corporate administrative matters, including entity formation, EIN procurement, drafting By-Laws, Minutes, Operating Agreements, etc. You will also be responsible for proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Additionally, you will perform legal due diligence, including ordering title reports, surveys, third-party reports, and insurance documents. You will review surveys, title commitments, and exception documents. You will work closely with attorneys to resolve day-to-day issues and support a broad range of commercial transactions and projects.
To perform this job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

* Oral Communication - Listens and obtains clarification; responds well to questions; is able to communicate with clients, company resources, and attorneys in a courteous, effective, and professional manner.
* Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; able to read and interpret written information.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred.
* Minimum of three years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
* Drafting expertise related to commercial real estate and leasing transactions.
* Ability to maintain high-quality performance with varied deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
* Strong analytical ability and research skills.
* Strong communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to communicate effectively across broad functional and organizational lines.
Self-starter who is adept at working independently and in a team environment and partnering with management, clients, in-house counsel, outside counsel, and staff.

Salary: $70,000-$100,000 annual DOE; may be bonus eligible.
Additional Information:
This full-time, non-exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California. This is not a remote-eligible position.
