Job DescriptionAt Planet Fitness - Fitton Clubs, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a superior Judgement Free experience

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, making every interaction a positive and memorable experience.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to member inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check members in, tour, and sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-to-sale system.
  • Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address, and billing or payment questions.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
  • Ensure the front desk area and lobby are clean and orderly, exceeding our high standards for cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Regularly clean and maintain all exercise equipment, tanning beds, restrooms, and wet areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Upbeat, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must.
  • Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification within time frames required by the company.

Physical Demands/Requirements:
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods, frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand motions.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight (up to 50lbs).
  • Ability to talk continually in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Maintain physical ability to administer CPR in the event of a medical emergency.
  • Ability to see in normal visual range with or without correction.
  • Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
