Research Analyst, Development and Alumni Relations

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our Development and Alumni Relations team at Boston University. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating prospective individual and institutional donors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research on potential donors, including biographical, business, and financial analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and evaluate prospective donors, including the use of data analytics and relationship mapping.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports and recommendations for development officers, including prioritization of giving capacities and inclinations of prospects.
- Collaborate with fundraisers, prospect management, and business intelligence teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Update pertinent information in the University's CRM database and maintain data integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Three to five years of related experience in research, development, or a related field.
- Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize a workload and adapt quickly to changing needs.
- Ability to handle confidential material responsibly and interact professionally with a wide spectrum of individuals.
