Mobile Device Management Engineer

Morph Enterprise is seeking a skilled contract engineer to assist in the automation and scripting of unattended deployment for browser extensions across large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement scripts for unattended installation of browser extensions across Windows and macOS endpoints, as well as iOS devices
  2. Optimize deployment scripts to ensure efficient and reliable extension installations across large device fleets
  3. Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide solutions for various enterprise environments
  4. Document deployment procedures and best practices for internal and client use
  5. Devise diverse test scenarios that can be replicated in lab environments before deploying in customer environments
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in writing advanced PowerShell scripts for Windows environments
  • Strong proficiency in bash/zsh scripting for macOS and Linux systems
  • Demonstrated ability to write cross-platform scripts that handle diverse environments and edge cases
  • Familiarity with common pitfalls and best practices in installation scripting
  • Understanding of Group Policy and other Windows management technologies
  • Experience with macOS management tools and iOS managed app configuration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of MDM platforms, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with additional MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE)
  • Experience deploying applications and extensions to iOS devices through MDM solutions
  • Understanding of enterprise security policies and compliance requirements
  • Experience with browser extension deployment and management
