Dallas, Texas, United States Rep-Lite Full time

Job Title: PRN/Part-Time Clinical Specialist - Medical Device

Company Overview:

At Rep-Lite, we believe that better decisions in patient care should be made at the front lines of medicine, before the need for specialty care. By doing so, we aim to improve outcomes and reduce downstream healthcare costs. We've developed a low-cost, handheld imaging platform that uses light to see through tissue, revolutionizing front-line care. Our first product empowers providers to make informed decisions about middle ear infections, the leading cause of hearing loss, antibiotic use, and surgeries in children. This innovative device non-invasively views the middle ear in real-time, providing both high-quality otoscopy images and a view through the eardrum to visualize the contents in the middle ear.

Job Description:

We're seeking a passionate and flexible Clinical Specialist for a PRN/Part-Time role, offering a unique opportunity to grow within the dynamic field of medical devices and clinical diagnostics. This position is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to leverage their expertise on a part-time basis while being at the forefront of groundbreaking medical technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Support: Travel to customer sites to educate and support healthcare professionals in the safe and proficient operation of our device.
  • Device Configuration: Customize and configure device setups according to company guidelines and customer needs.
  • Post-Sales Education: Conduct end-user training sessions and in-services to ensure optimal use and understanding of the device.
  • Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on support during the product's initial deployment in various care settings, including ENT, Pediatric, Urgent Care, and other frontline environments.
  • Customer Focus: Proactively assess customer needs, offering solutions, and escalating concerns as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Territory Managers and complete required documentation to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Ongoing Competency: Maintain proficiency with the product through company-provided training (classroom, online modules, etc.).
  • Compliance: Meet and maintain vendor credentialing requirements, including immunizations and other medical prerequisites.
  • Reporting: Complete expense and hourly reports accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare Background: Current skills as a Nurse, NP, PA, or other Allied Health professional. LPNs are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in frontline care or a specialty clinic (acute, post-acute, or clinic setting).
  • Customer Service Mindset: High level of initiative, accountability, and professionalism with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Windows, MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and networks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
  • Availability: Able to commit to 2-3 days of availability, Monday through Friday.

Travel Requirements:

  • Flexibility: Ability to travel overnight and work across multiple accounts within a territory, sometimes with short notice.
  • Location: Must reside within 1 hour of a major US airport and have reliable transportation for assignments 2-4 hours from home.
  • Reimbursement: Mileage and expenses are covered, including a technology allowance.
