POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department and our restaurants in fulfilling their staffing requirements. This position involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and qualifications for open roles, as well as assisting in posting job openings on suitable platforms. You will manage the complete recruitment cycle, effectively sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent. This position requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive recruiting experience in a dynamic food and beverage environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage hiring processes for both hourly and salaried employees within the hospitality sector or a related field.

· Proven capability to handle multiple open positions while meeting hiring expectations.

  • Experience with HRIS software and proficiency in navigating ATS systems.

· A strong passion for recruitment, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to achieving success.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

· Exceptional judgment in assessing candidates, high emotional intelligence, and a welcoming demeanor.

· Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.

· Capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining a sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Competency in reading and writing in English; ability to conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data.

· Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.

  • This role requires onsite work from Monday to Friday, with potential flexibility during peak business periods.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for open positions, from job advertisement to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders and the recruiting team to meet staffing goals.
  • Identify and attract qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Recruit for all assigned positions and ensure timely communication regarding next steps with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Utilize online recruitment tools and in-house platforms to find the best candidates.
  • Draft and update job descriptions, gaining a thorough understanding of job responsibilities and business needs.
  • Provide an outstanding recruitment experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct thorough candidate assessments.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed information about the company and position expectations.
  • Develop and sustain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Maintain consistent communication and urgency in follow-ups with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Effectively utilize the ATS system.
  • Update recruitment trackers and generate reports as necessary, ensuring accuracy through regular audits.
  • Stay informed about recruitment laws and trends, offering recommendations as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks and maintain confidentiality of all candidate and personnel information.
  • Uphold ethical standards to protect the company's reputation.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, adhering to ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards.

· Consistent punctual attendance is required, in line with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards.

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, with compensation determined by factors such as prior experience and qualifications.
