This role is responsible for ensuring prompt and efficient service to our customers, maintaining an acceptable degree of profitability for our company, and utilizing the workforce in a manner that meets customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and coordinate training and safety objectives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Establish and meet production and financial goals, including developing a financial plan that achieves Company and plant goals.
  • Schedule plant personnel to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain clear dialogue with customers to determine their needs and services required.
  • Administer discipline concerning the violation of Company rules and regulations.
  • Oversee plant purchasing, plant/equipment maintenance, and plant/equipment repairs and parts.
  • Direct and indirect supervision of all plant personnel and staff, including daily operations and maintenance of the plant.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong background in materials management, production, or engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment. A bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university is preferred, along with experience in manufacturing, steel-industry, or other similar environments. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
