Southwest Behavioral Health Services is a leading provider of behavioral health services with a strong presence in the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding counties.

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner-PRN to join our Kingman Crisis and Recovery Services program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general psychiatric services, including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, family meetings, supportive psychotherapy, patient education, and risk assessment and discharge planning.
  • Ensure that psychiatric services are in compliance with licensing and funding requirements as defined by the Covered Services Guide.
  • Conduct daily morning check-ins with care coordinators, RNs, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Complete tasks such as paperwork, Telemed fill-in, and responding to site outreach while working on-site or from a remote workspace.
  • Provide Telemed assistance for outpatient and inpatient clinics, conduct admissions, and participate in facility staffing needs as required.
  • Attend all SBH meetings/trainings, including CMO meetings, BHMP meetings, staffing for clients, trainings for CME, EHR trainings, etc.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited NP program with Psychiatric Mental Health Certification through the ANCC.
  • One or more years of experience in the delivery of mental health treatment of adults.
  • Licensed by the State of Arizona; valid DEA certificate required.
