About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Systems Engineer to join our team at DISH Network L.L.C. As an RF Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our 5G network.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design RF activities for our standalone 5G broadband network, including propagation modeling and prediction for Macro Cell deployment.
  • Determine equipment and power configurations with eNB/RAN and UE teams on RF solutions and link budget modifications.
  • Evaluate cell sites, update performance parameters for ongoing improvements, and coordinate cell site testing and optimization drives.
  • Create RFDS/CIQ and ACDM for E911 compliance using Samsung's USM tool.

Requirements

  • BSEE/BSCS degree with 3+ years of LTE RF Design experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Expertise in 4G/5G cellular technology, RF design, KPIs, and link budget maintenance for 3GPP technologies.
  • Proficient in LTE design/optimization tools and drive test data processing.

Compensation and Benefits
