Role Overview:

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our sales team by leveraging your analytical skills to assess sales data and market trends. Collaborating closely with the Area Manager, you will develop strategic action plans to meet and exceed sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Information Dissemination: Provide accurate and validated product information to healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well-informed about our offerings.
  • Market Exploration: Investigate the potential of your assigned territory by gathering insights on competitors and developing a comprehensive Product Development Plan (PDP).
  • Sales Analysis: Regularly evaluate sales performance and implement follow-up strategies to optimize results.
  • Hospital Engagement: Conduct activities aimed at securing product listings within hospitals.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Execute marketing strategies for assigned products, including detailing, route-to-market (RTM) strategies, focus group discussions (FGD), and more.
  • Stock Monitoring: Ensure the availability of products in hospitals and pharmacies by monitoring stock levels.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work in tandem with other sales team members, marketing, and internal stakeholders on various cross-functional initiatives.
  • External Networking: Build and maintain relationships with medical professionals and distributors, facilitating activities that support product registration in hospital formularies.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on product knowledge, medical information, and sales techniques to enhance your competencies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports and forecasts to both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing key account metrics.
