Job Overview

The Customer Service Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients within the pharmaceutical packaging sector.

This position requires working in a dynamic, multicultural environment, reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager.

The responsibilities include overseeing customer orders through an SAP system, coordinating production schedules with manufacturing facilities across Europe and Asia, and managing delivery timelines with logistics partners. Additionally, the role involves updating forecasts and providing support to Sales Managers for specific client accounts.

Establishing strong relationships and maintaining clear communication with clients are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all order processing and logistics communication for assigned clients.
  • Set up and manage client accounts in SAP, including new customer entries, pricing structures, and reference lists.
  • Maintain comprehensive administrative records, including orders, documentation, and purchase order statuses.

Purchase Order Management:

  • Review and process all purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients regarding standard inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the planning department for order validation.
  • Track shipments in collaboration with logistics teams and partners.

Forecasting and Sales Support:

  • Regularly update forecasting tools to maintain accurate data.
  • Assist in sales activities, including sample requests and new product developments.
  • Manage late payment reminders and maintain tracking documentation.
  • Oversee inventory control in local warehouses as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of trade school or a university degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused environment.
  • Experience in a multicultural and multilingual setting is advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or packaging industry.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and French is required.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in IT tools, including ERP systems, forecasting software, and the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with SAP is a plus.
