Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Coordinator to join our team at the NYU Langone Health Cancer Center. As a Medication Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the medication inventory and supply chain for the Cancer Center
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
  • Develop and implement processes to improve medication management and reduce errors
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
  • Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Pharmacy Technician certification
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with electronic health records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a healthcare-related field
  • Progressive experience in a leadership role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
