Bilingual Customer Service Representative

This role offers the opportunity to work hybrid after a 3-week training period, with mandatory in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. As an Information and Referral Specialist, you will connect community members to health and human service resources based on their needs and location. This position is ideal for individuals with call center and phone-based customer service experience who are passionate about supporting underrepresented populations. The most critical need is for bilingual call takers who speak both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to community members via phone and other communication channels.
- Connect individuals to health and human service resources based on their needs and location.
- Work collaboratively with a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of health and human services resources in the community.
- Utilize data gathering techniques to collect and analyze information.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, databases, and other software systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Works well within a team and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in an office setting and also able to work remotely when necessary.
- General knowledge of Health & Human Services.
- Ability to attend functions, meetings, and activities outside of normal work hours as needed.
- Must be able to work in-office during scheduled hours.
- Customer service experience is a must.
