Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NERC Compliance Manager to join our team at NV Energy. As a key member of our Compliance and Standards department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NERC O&P Reliability Standards and providing guidance to business units on regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for NERC compliance and related activities.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide processes and procedures related to NERC compliance and work with directors and managers to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are met.
  • Administer and track activities related to NERC compliance, including periodic certifications, self-reports, external audits, and internal audits.
  • Coordinate and review NERC compliance-related training, including electronic-based training.
  • Manage a team of O&P Compliance analysts and engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related NERC compliance or utility experience.
  • Candidates without a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 8 years of related NERC compliance or utility experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the utility business and operational practices, NERC reliability standards, and applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as project management and leadership skills.
