Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and flexible Automation Systems Technician at Lucid Bots. In this position, you will collaborate with team members to construct, sustain, and enhance robotic systems and associated machinery. Your duties will encompass assembling robots, conducting maintenance and diagnostic tasks, utilizing various production tools and equipment, and evaluating products for performance and quality assurance. You will engage in robotic and drone service operations on-site and occasionally in collaboration with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic systems and related machinery.
  • Utilize production tools and equipment, including soldering irons, CNC machines, rotary tools, and multimeters.
  • Support robotic and drone service operations.
  • Operate drones post-assembly to verify quality standards.
  • Monitor and suggest improvements to management for assembly, QA/QC, and repair processes.
  • Assist engineers in the development, construction, and testing of prototypes or new products, processes, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to complete QA/QC tasks and repair orders promptly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Represent the company professionally around clients and on job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Part 107 sUAS remote pilot certificate required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Able to lift and move 50 pounds of materials unassisted.
