About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team at Waterbury Hospital. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to provide advanced support for evening/night nursing staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing clinical nursing practice, validating employee-specific skills, and facilitating efficient patient care. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support hospital-wide initiatives, incorporate research into clinical standards, and provide consultation to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve nursing practice on the evening/night shift
- Validate employee-specific skills and knowledge based on needs assessment
- Provide experiential learning opportunities for assigned staff
- Support hospital-wide initiatives through education and communication
- Identify and communicate clinical competency issues to the Clinical Director
- Participate in special functions and facilitate patient care as needed
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance clinical practice

What We Offer
This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
