Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Medical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Waterbury Hospital. As an essential member of our medical surgical unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in medical surgical nursing and be certified in BLS and ACLS. You will work on a 3/12 night shift schedule, with every other weekend coverage required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice
  • Administer medications, perform IV insertions, and manage blood products as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized patient plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in medical surgical nursing
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS; State License - Copy of Professional License
