Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Care Specialist to join our team at Waterbury Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients, ensuring timely interventions and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Promote a culture of safety and excellence, actively participating in Quality Improvement initiatives and contributing to departmental goals.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Medical/Surgical procedures experience required; Intravenous therapy experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift, push, and pull patients as needed, wearing personal protective equipment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
