Healthcare Support Specialist

DOCS Medical Group is a leading healthcare provider seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our mission of accessible, high-quality healthcare.
About the Role
Patient Care: Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, running diagnostic tests, and assisting providers during procedures. Administrative Support: Manage patient intake, medical records, and ensure smooth office operations. Handle billing inquiries, documentation requests, and more. Clinical Skills: Assist with blood draws, EKGs, and medication preparations. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all aspects of patient care and medical record management.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
- Proficiency with computers and software programs, including Google Workspace.
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Bilingual skills and additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., phlebotomy, EKG).
