Sales Development Representative

h3Job Description/h3pAt The Rockridge Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. Your primary goal will be to research potential clients, connect with them via cold calls and email, and educate prospects to qualify leads before handing them off to the sales team./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliLead management and proactive outbound prospecting/liliDevelop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers/liliGenerate appointments by means of lead activity management/liliMarket company's solutions to potential customers/liliWork with the marketing team to discover opportunities from various leads resources/liliSet up appointments/liliTrack and maintain customer contact information and outreach schedule/liliAttend customer meetings as required/liliParticipate in sales meetings, local trade shows, and vendor training to maintain up-to-date knowledge/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulli2+ Years Experience as a Sales Representative, AE, or similar role/liliHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)/liliTrack record of achieving sales quotas/liliFamiliarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)/liliUnderstanding of sales performance metrics/liliAbility to interact and communicate with individuals across the organization/liliUnderstanding of workflow systems of the organization, and their various applications to the improvement of customer business processes/liliSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives/liliReport to Sales Director on sales results/li/ul
