Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at LabCorp in Houston, TX. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Hematology Department, ensuring accurate test results, and providing leadership to laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct laboratory personnel to ensure efficient and accurate test results
  • Monitor and maintain quality control and quality assurance records
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance laboratory operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide coaching and feedback to laboratory personnel to enhance their skills and performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or clinical laboratory science
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a medical technologist in a clinical laboratory
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations
  • Proficient in laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office
