Position Overview: CUI Specialist, Supply Chain – FLRAA

We are seeking a dedicated Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Specialist to join our team and contribute to the FLRAA Procurement Project Management efforts.

In this pivotal role, you will support the FLRAA Strategic Sourcing team and supplier network, ensuring adherence to data security and recordkeeping standards. You will also lead the creation and execution of best practices for data security and cybersecurity within the supply chain.

Your Responsibilities as a CUI Specialist, Supply Chain - FLRAA

  • Develop, implement, and refine the FLRAA Supply Chain's CUI policies in accordance with program requirements and corporate guidelines, ensuring regular updates for continued relevance.
  • Design and roll out a comprehensive CUI training and awareness program for internal supply chain stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the FLRAA supplier network complies with necessary CUI protection measures, participate in award evaluations, and conduct regular compliance assessments.
  • Establish and enforce guidelines for information classification within the Supply Chain based on security requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits and incident responses to confirm compliance with established information classification policies among personnel.
  • Assist procurement teams in negotiating cybersecurity terms in contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier data, monitor compliance, and analyze performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment and possess a strong understanding of Data Security and Data Classification principles. Familiarity with current government-mandated cybersecurity protocols, strong analytical capabilities, and a team-oriented approach are essential. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for fostering relationships with various stakeholders.

Requirements for Success

Applicants should have experience supporting CUI programs, hold relevant Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP), and ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Information, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A Cyber Security certification is preferred, along with the ability to obtain or maintain a Secret-level security clearance. Advanced degrees will be considered an asset.
