Job Summary

The Department for Children & Families' Family Services Division is seeking a professional-level Family Services Worker to support children, families, and communities in Rutland. This role involves conducting assessments and providing ongoing services to at-risk families, children in state care, and youth on juvenile probation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments related to child abuse and neglect or delinquency
  • Provide ongoing services to at-risk families, children in state care, or youth on juvenile probation
  • Work in partnership with parents, relatives, educators, law enforcement, community-based service providers, courts, foster parents, and others
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work
  • Bachelor's degree and 18 months of human services casework experience
  • Satisfactory completion of 12-18 months experience as a Family Services Worker trainee in DCF
