About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide positive and pleasant interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
