Job Description

Marketing Coordinator Role

Ross Group is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic Marketing Department. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing, producing, and quality-controlling compelling and creative proposals and other marketing materials for the private, commercial, and federal market sectors that Ross Group serves.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating persuasive proposal and qualification packages that require a blend of new content creation and the reuse of existing content.
  • Producing creative marketing collateral, such as brochures, capability statements, case studies, blog content, resumes, project descriptions, and other narrative information.
  • Coordinating project photography for completed projects, as needed.
  • Completing company and vendor certifications and registrations, as needed.
  • Ordering company swag, ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Collecting, assembling, and maintaining accurate project/company information in both the content library and CRM database to produce requested information as needed.
  • Printing proposals and other documents when needed.
  • Contribute to social media and website content.
  • Working well under short deadlines, maintaining good time management skills to balance workload and ensure deliverables are produced on time with adequate time for thorough review.
  • Providing additional department support as needed or assigned.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A college graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising, English, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience developing content and messaging for various types of marketing collateral.
  • Strong technical writing skills including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and/or independently on assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal teams and external partners.
  • A strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.
  • Ability to build cohesive documents using information from multiple resources.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign programs (more than two years of consistent use is strongly preferred).
  • A general sense of visual style (experience with layout and graphic design is strongly preferred).
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Physical requirements include:

  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary to accomplish project goals.
  • Occasional travel to other office locations, project sites, or trade shows.
  • Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other commonly used business-related items.
