Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing Department at Ross Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and quality-controlling compelling and creative proposals and other marketing materials for our private, commercial, and federal market sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and write persuasive proposal and qualification packages, requiring the creation of new content, review for continuity, logic, message, and impact.
  • Provide quality control for proposal and qualification packages, reviewing for continuity, logic, message, and impact.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide insight and direction.
  • Analyze potential leads for viability as assigned by the Marketing Manager/Director.
  • Collect, assemble, and maintain accurate project/company information in the content library and CRM database.
  • Create marketing collateral, such as brochures, capability statements, case studies, blog content, resumes, project descriptions, and other narrative information.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop social media and website strategy and content and with other internal team members to produce content.
  • Work well under short deadlines, maintaining good time management skills to balance workload and ensure deliverables are produced on time with adequate time for thorough review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • Five to ten years of experience creating proposal and qualification packages, leading the charge in writing, layout, and production of high-quality, customized, and complex proposal documents.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including command of tone, mechanics, and grammar.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and/or independently on assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.
  • Exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to build cohesive documents using information from multiple resources.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign programs.
  • A great sense of visual style and experience with layout and graphic design.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • APMP, CPSM, or similar certification a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary to accomplish project goals.
  • Occasional travel to other office locations, project sites, or trade shows.
  • Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other commonly used business-related items.
