Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Engagement and Peer Support Manager plays a vital role in promoting engagement, hope, and full integration and functioning of clients needed to live successfully in the community. This role welcomes, orients, and engages clients into services, collaborating with Referral and Intake Team Leader and other CBHC/Outpatient (OP) Leadership team members to determine needed services. The Engagement and Peer Support Manager helps clients explore their options and gain the confidence, skills, and resources needed to succeed in goals. Additionally, this role provides peer orientation, training, and supervision to Peer Specialists, Recovery Coaches, Young Adult Peer Mentors, Engagement Specialists, and other team members supporting clients accessing Vinfen Behavioral Health (VBH) services. The Engagement and Peer Support Manager serves as an expert and support to all components of the CBHC under the direction of the Senior Director of Recovery Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcomes, orients, and engages clients into services
  • Collaborates with Referral and Intake Team Leader and other CBHC/Outpatient (OP) Leadership team members to determine needed services
  • Provides peer orientation, training, and supervision to Peer Specialists, Recovery Coaches, Young Adult Peer Mentors, Engagement Specialists, and other team members
  • Serves as an expert and support to all components of the CBHC under the direction of the Senior Director of Recovery Services
