Job Overview

Position Title: Warehouse Material Specialist

As a Warehouse Material Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage the retrieval of necessary items according to requisitions, order lists, or stock inventories. You will utilize a checklist to verify the accuracy of kits and report any discrepancies. Your duties will also encompass the transportation of completed orders to designated distribution points or staging areas, handling returned items and unexpected issues, and maintaining an accurate inventory of received, stocked, and issued materials. Additionally, you will prepare procurement requests for materials.

This role requires the ability to lift heavy items and may involve operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Other responsibilities include:

  • Examining, stocking, and distributing materials within inventory and on production lines.
  • Conducting inventory counts through cycle counting.
  • Auditing kits to ensure accuracy.
