**General Overview:**

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Specialist to join our team at Objectwin Technology Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • The Materials Specialist will be responsible for performing manual and clerical duties involved in the daily operation of our warehouses, storage areas, and laydown yards. This includes performing inventory and materials management tasks, such as material handling, shipping/receiving, stock maintenance, disposal, and coordination of material movements between warehouses, facilities, and project sites.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse and stores practices, as well as knowledge of materials, supplies, and equipment for assigned work areas. They will also have the ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • **Minimum Qualifications:**
    • Zero or more years of experience in materials handling or warehouse operations
  • **Skills and Abilities:**
    • Knowledge of warehouse and stores practices
    • Knowledge of materials, supplies, and equipment for assigned work areas
    • Knowledge of maintenance and construction terminology
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Skill in operation of materials handling equipment used in department
    • Skill in verbal and written communication
    • Skill in communicating effectively with team members, supervision/management, and external organizations
    • Skill in providing customer service
    • Skill in reading and using pick lists to expedite the availability of materials
    • Basic skill level in office productivity applications
    • Basic skill level in using work management systems for inventory control and receiving functions
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to balance and manage competing high-priority work demands
