Hospital Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hospital Housekeeper to join our team at HHS. As a Hospital Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Respond to Housekeeping pages and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently and push/pull a maid cart or linen cart continuously.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used in the cleaning process.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed.
