Job Title: Finance Manager

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Private Equity firm in Raleigh. As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the firm and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues.
  • Manage the firm's financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to senior management, including providing recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in due diligence and financial analysis of potential investments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a private equity setting.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of private equity, including valuation methods, deal structuring, and due diligence.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into insightful and actionable information.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and influence senior management decisions.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
