Position Overview:
The International Tax Senior Consultant plays a pivotal role in managing tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning for the Company's global operations. This role is perfect for a driven tax professional eager to embrace diverse challenges and advance their career within a vibrant and fast-evolving tax department at an innovative and expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute international tax components of US federal tax compliance, including calculations for GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, foreign tax credits, and other relevant international provisions, along with the preparation of necessary forms and technical documentation.
- Assist in fulfilling Country-by-Country reporting obligations.
- Oversee the application of OECD Pillar 2 initiatives and aid in the preparation of calculations and reporting obligations concerning potential Pillar 2 tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with international controllers to ensure compliance with foreign tax regulations and assist in forecasting foreign cash tax obligations.
- Provide assistance regarding international tax elements of IRS and foreign tax audits.
- Conduct tax provision calculations related to the Company's global operations, encompassing current and deferred tax provisions, tax reserve items, and tax account reconciliations.
- Support the Company's transfer pricing functions, including calculations, documentation, intercompany agreements, and strategic planning.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and maintenance of the Company's international structure.
- Aid in the international tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, structuring, and integration processes.
- Effectively communicate complex tax issues to management, including the implications of tax reform legislation and internal business changes.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA and/or MST preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and accounting, with 2-3 years focused on US international taxation.
- Detail-oriented team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to research, understand, and articulate complex tax technical issues.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating high energy and enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision is advantageous.
The compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
