Job Title: AST DIR, Admissions

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Admissions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and presenting at recruiting events, developing and implementing an inclusive Full-Time MBA Recruitment plan, and overseeing the design and implementation of admissions strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and present at recruiting events, including off-site information sessions, corporate education fairs, and MBA fairs.
  • Develop and implement an inclusive Full-Time MBA Recruitment plan, establishing the direction, goals, and implementation strategies for the program.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of admissions strategies, including the use of SalesForce/Pardot CRM to support recruiting strategy and track applicant pool and candidate progress.
  • Review and screen Full-Time MBA applications, conduct interviews, and participate in the Full-Time Admissions Committee to determine offers of admission.
  • Manage and execute the awarding of a $1.2 million scholarship budget and communicate efficiently and effectively to all candidates regarding rationale for final committee decisions.
  • Supervise full-time staff members and oversee the Admissions Ambassadors, setting performance standards, accountability, and conducting annual performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong oral presentation skills and poise.
  • High levels of energy, motivation, and organization.
  • Ability to strategize, plan, execute, and manage events.
  • Understanding and experience of Slate, Salesforce, and Peoplesoft Campus Solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or master's degree with at least three to five years of direct experience in recruiting or sales and proven relationship selling skills with a strong knowledge base of MBA curriculum and general business.

  • Proactively seek alliances and partnerships across the UF MBA team in order to improve macro level strategic outcomes for the MBA Program.
  • Good diplomacy skills to be an effective facilitator within UF MBA Admissions and Student Affairs Staff and for building positive relationships with students, alumni, and applicants.
